This course provides an introduction to basic marketing concepts. The purpose of this course is to teach students to identify the target market and the marketing mix components; explain the environmental factors which influence consumer and organizational decision-making processes; outline a marketing plan considering ethical and social factors and interpret marketing research data to forecast industry trends and meet customer demands. Participants will also develop a comprehensive marketing plan and apply course concepts to real or imaginary products.

This is one of the basic courses of the department of law. This course aims to provide students with knowledge of labour laws, especially the nature and scope of labor law, the rationale of labor laws in organizations, the international labor organization, the labor laws of Bangladesh, occupational hazards and risk, managing employee relations at work, safety and security, Wage Board, CBA, Trade Union and rights and liabilities of both the employee and emplyer. Outcome of this course is to demonstrate an appreciation of the industrial, economic and social contexts in which labour is regulated, to assess the rights of worker as expressed in the labour law of Bangladesh which developed through a long struggle, to explain the significance and content of the terms and conditions of employment and its relationship to industrial awards and workplace agreements.

Knitting Technology is one of the most common technologies of Fabric Manufacturing. Knitting is the method of creating fabric by transforming continuous strands of yarn into a series of interlocking loops, each row of such loops hanging from the one immediately preceding it. The knitting industry belongs to the branches of the textile industry with long tradition and the knitted goods have been known for centuries. In the early days they were made by hand. But with the progress of time knitting machines have been developed and redesigned so that now a days they present the most complicated and most automated machinery in the textile industry. At present knitwear is the largest export earning sector of Bangladesh contributing 41.8% of national export earnings. In this course students will learn the mechanism of circular and flat knitting machines. They will be able to identify four types of knitted fabric. Along with that students will learn to calculate the production of knitting machines. This will help students in their professional life.
