Course info

This course is designed for the students to conceive and understand the works of British poet P.B. Shelley, Author Jane Austen and essayist Charles  Lamb who have influenced and shaped platforms for romantic mode of literature throughout the Romantic Age. Students will be introduced with the  concepts of romanticism, realism, humanism, humor, enlightenment and socio-political and economic condition of that time. Students would be  able to develop a rich perspective about the relevance of romantic literature in contemporary times.
