The Electronic Devices and Circuits lab course is designed to enable the students to learn to construct and test practical electronic circuits that contain diode, transistors or op-amps. Topics include characteristics and design of diodes, analysis of clipper and clamper circuits, design of diode-based circuits, integrated circuits, and so so. It uses SPICE software. Upon successful completion of this lab course, the students will be able to construct circuits that contain diodes, transistors or op-amps, measure transistor parameters, measure diode parameters, measure input resistance, output resistance, frequency response, and gain of circuits, use report writing skills, demonstrate proficiency in the use of computer simulation tools.
