Instructions to the Candidates:
Answer any 4(four) of the following questions.
1. Define the concept of bail in the context of criminal law. Discuss the criteria a court considers when granting or denying bail and elaborate on the purpose and components of a bail bond. (10 marks)
2. Enumerate and explain the powers and responsibilities of a Magistrate in the context of criminal proceedings. Highlight the distinctions between the forces of an Executive Magistrate and a Judicial Magistrate.

3. Outline the role and jurisdiction of a Session Judge in the criminal justice system. Discuss the types of cases that fall within the appellate jurisdiction of the Session Judge and the process of appeal from a lower court. (10 marks)
4. Differentiate between an FIR and a G.D. Discuss the circumstances under which a G.D. can be converted into a G.R. Case and the implications of such conversion. (10 marks)
5. Explore the mechanisms and consequences of enforcing a bail bond. Discuss situations where a court may revoke bail and the legal implications for the individual granted bail. (10 marks)
