This course familiarizes the students with basic transmission lines (both the Overhead and Underground transmission lines), power system stability, generation and HVDC.

At the end of this course, students will be able to:

CO 1: Investigate the performance of transmission lines.

CO 2: Analyze the stability of single machine infinite bus system.

CO 3: Familiarize with modern transmission techniques of HVAC and HVDC.
