This course has been designed to equip learners with the knowledge and concepts of Operation and control of the

electric power system economically and optimally.

At the end of this course, students will be able to:

CO1: Understanding the principles of power system operation and characteristics of various generators.

CO2: Implementing controlling strategies for optimal operation of generators.

CO3: Analysis of security measures for operation of electric power system.
