 This course will provide an opportunity for participants to establish or advance their understanding of research through critical exploration of research language, ethics, and approaches. The course introduces the language of research, ethical principles and challenges, and the elements of the research process within quantitative and qualitative approaches. Participants will gain an understanding of the Literature Review and issues of validity in research. The course will equip students with the skills to review and conduct methodologically sound research as a part of their professional work. Students develop the skills to recognize and reflect on the strengths and limitations of different research methodologies and will gain a brief understanding of report writing/writing in the sciences
