Maternal, Child, and Adolescent Health (MCAH) focuses on improving health outcomes for mothers, children, and adolescents through targeted interventions at different life stages.
Focusing areas will be:
- Maternal Health – Prenatal care, safe delivery, postpartum care, family planning, and maternal nutrition.
- Child Health – Immunization, nutrition, growth monitoring, neonatal care, and managing childhood illnesses.
- Adolescent Health – Sexual and reproductive health, mental health, injury prevention, and healthy lifestyle promotion.
- Cross-cutting Areas – Health equity, gender-based issues, health education, and access to services.
MCAH programs aim to reduce mortality, prevent disease, and promote lifelong health and development.
