This course offers a comprehensive introduction to the principles and practices of data communications. It covers essential concepts, layered communication protocols, signal transmission, error detection and correction, multiplexing, and LAN architectures, equipping students with a strong foundation in this critical field.
Course Objectives: Upon completing this course, students should be able to:

- CO2: Illustrate the TCP/IP and OSI Reference models and identify their differences in implementation within and across enterprises.
