This course introduces the fundamentals and techniques of fluid
mechanics with the aim of describing and controlling engineering flows.
Emphasis is placed on being able to formulate and solve typical problems of
engineering importance. This course is intended to provide an introduction to
the engineering science of fluid mechanics, especially as it is relevant to
mechanical engineering. The scope of the course covers basic fluid properties,
dimensional analysis, incompressible flows, etc., which are primarily of interest
to  engineers.
