Additional Statutes I

This course is largely designed to impart law students’ with knowledge and skills on law of the General Clauses Act, 1893, The Civil Courts Act, 1898, The Legal Aid Act, 2010, The Artha Rin Adalat Ain, 2003, The Stamp Act, 1899 and The Court Fees Act 1898 rules regarding interpretation of statutes, different civil courts with their respective jurisdictions, legal aid services for destitute and helpless people who are incapable of seeking any legal help, procedure to file a money suit for recovery of loan by financial institutions, and the procedure of imposing court and stamp fees as well as the offences and penalties relating to same issues.
