In
this course, the fundamentals and advanced techniques related to manufacturing
processes are studied. In this course students will know how the application of
CNC machines has impacted on manufacturing and the advantages and disadvantages
of using CNC machining in a manufacturing environment. The main objective is to
obtain products at a much lower manufacturing cost, compared to the one
resulting from conventional applications.
