18th Century English Literature 1

This course is designed to focus on a literary movement like Neoclassicism or the Age of Enlightenment (also known as the Age of Reason or simply the Enlightenment), more specifically satirical poetry and prose and the development of the modern novel as a literary genre, in the eighteenth-century English-language literature with special attention to the key figures like Daniel Defoe, Jonathan Swift, and Alexander Pope.
