This course entitled the 18th century English literature 2 attempts to introduce the undergraduate students of English literature with the major works of Addison & Steele, Henry Fielding and Edmund Burke. After completing the course, the students will be able to identify the role of literature in reforming the social, cultural and political issues applying irony, humor and aesthetics like the great writers in the sphere of literature. They will distinguish evil impacts of social discrimination and mal-governance of the western colonizers in 18th century.
