This course entitled 20th Century Modern Fiction provides students with an opportunity to identify three major British fiction writers - Conrad, Forster and Lawrence and to interpret their novels. Students will be introduced with the concept of modernism, racism and sociopolitical condition from a colonial perspective of the early modern era and they would be able to develop a rich perspective about the colonial and post-colonial criticism.
