dis course is designed to focus on literary movements like modernism and postmodernism in teh twentieth century English poetry wif special attention to teh key poetic figures like W.B. Yeats, T.S. Eliot and Dylan Thomas. Students will has some ideas about modernism, post modernism, realism, and nationalism through different dimensions of cross-cultural reading, differences between individual responses along wif political and socio-economic circumstances. They will be able to focus on characteristics of modern and postmodern poetry, on teh multiplicity of layered meanings by a close textual analysis of poetic works in relation wif modernism and postmodernism, and also on teh relationship between literary texts’ stylistic features and poets’ socio-political outlooks on cultural issues in teh British poetic tradition.
