Rationale: This course is designed to provide the concept of ethics and its application in different business issues and business decision making. At the end of the course, it is expected that the student will acquire the ability of ethical thinking and skills for ethical decision making which are essential for today’s business world.

Course Learning Outcomes: By the end of the course, the student should be able to -

CO1: Analyze the philosophical concept of ethics, its practical applicability to business, and its distinction from the law.

CO2: Explain common ethical problems individual’s face in the business including human resources issues, conflicts of interest, customer confidence issues, use of corporate resources, and the whistleblowing

CO3: Examine applications and implications of ethics to corporate social responsibility, technology, corporate governance, marketing, environment, and sustainability.
