Measurement and Instrumentation provides an appreciation of the principles of measurement and principal design features of a variety of instruments. Thus develops an understanding of the importance of good measurement for effective control. The aim of this course is to provide a thorough grounding in the principles, technology and practices of measurement. Hence emphasize on the specification, installation and operation of the common types of instrumentation techniques used in the process industries.
